LIAM Ó MAONLAÍ – Wednesday 04 November 2020 – Postponed

Unfortunately Liam O’Maonlai’s show at the mill scheduled for Wednesday 04 November 2020 has been cancelled. Up until yesterday evening it was still on but today, alas, no longer. A sign of the times I suppose. Here is the press release from Routes Music who were organising the tour.

Regrettably, due to unavoidable Tier 5 quarantine regulations on Liam’s return to Ireland, it has become necessary to cancel/postpone the up-coming concerts here in England. Shortly after Liam’s return he is booked to record a show for future broadcast with The RTE Symphony Orchestra of Ireland singing the Songs of John Lennon. As you can imagine this is a big deal in both logistical and national broadcasting terms so couldn’t be jeopardised by any enforced quarantine. Liam is very grateful to all concerned and thanks the promoters and all their staff and helpers, the ticket buyers as well as all who have assisted in spreading the word on these eagerly looked forward to gigs.

Liam says……..

” To all concerned. I felt very excited about coming to play with you all. It was a tangible calling for me. I feel like I have been in touch with each place and have a real sense of the enthusiasm and fun we will have. I look forward to when we nail some dates and I will make sure they are properly and appropriately nailed! So till then, Tara and many thanks. Liam”

These gigs will be replaced with new dates as soon as practicable.
