White Ribbon UK was founded in 2007. Its mission is to end male violence against women, once and for all. White Ribbon work with men and boys to challenge those male cultures that lead to harassment, abuse and violence. White Ribbon ambassadors engage with other men and boys to call out such behaviour among their peers and promote a culture of equality and respect.
The Black Dyke Mills Heritage Venue is proud to present an evening of fine music in support of White Ribbon. Appearing live will be The White Ribbons – a four piece band made up of White Ribbon ambassadors – and Serious Sam Barrett – the highly acclaimed Leeds based singer, guitarist and songwriter.
Tickets are £5.50 in advance and £7.00 on the door with profits going towards White Ribbon UK.
For a taste of what is in store here is Serious Sam Barrett performing Lullaby of Leeds.
