Yorkshire Best is the first in what we hope will be a series of shows featuring the finest local talent. Our first show kicks of in style with appearances from Henry Parker, The Lazarus Boys and Isaac Hughes Dennis.
Henry Parker is a favourite at the Mill and is a stunning guitarist and gifted songwriter. His playing is influenced by traditional folk and blues with a smattering of jazz and psychedelia thrown in for good measure.
The Lazarus Boys are a two piece band from Hebden Bridge: Clive Corner on vocals and guitar, Clive Worley on keyboard and drum programming.
They play all original material, catchy and eclectic in style, from punk to pop from funk to rock. The music is strangely familiar and yet new. And once you hear it you’ll want to hear it again.
Isaac Hughes Dennis is another Hebden Bridge based musician who will be bringing his unique talent and ukulele along. Isaac describes himself as “a 14-year-old goofball who has been armed with a ukulele and put in front of an audience for your entertainment! Watch me pretend to know what I’m doing as I work my way through my eclectic originals, comedic covers, and more! Feel free to laugh (with or at me), clap, dance, and sing along!”
Tickets are £5 in advance and £7 on the door.
