CLIVE GREGSON & LIZ SIMCOCK – Saturday 07 October

First coming to notice with pop band Any Trouble, Clive Gregson went on to form a ground-breaking partnership with singer Christine Collister that Rolling Stone called “the state of the art in British folk-rock”. Thirty years down the road, Clive has found the perfect vocal foil in Liz Simcock, herself an established singer-songwriter.

Over the years Clive has toured and recorded with Richard Thompson, Nanci Griffith, Eddi Reader and Boo Hewerdine and his songs have been covered by artists as diverse as Kim Carnes, Norma Waterson and Jimmy Buffet. Expect exquisite harmonies, expert guitar playing and songwriting of the highest order from two of the most talented performers around.

“Gregson is as fine a singer-songwriter as anyone has a right to expect…he does the lot.” – THE INDEPENDENT
